Leica M8 back from Solm, Germany!

I’ve just returned to Bangkok after two weeks on the road.  I took my 5D and M6.  Both served well but my first choice was my M8.

However a couple of weeks ago, I accidently dropped my M8.  Gulp.  The impact did not damage the camera although it did cause the viewfinder to be slightly out of adjustment.  Fortunately, I was able to have it hand-carried to Solm.  Now it’s as good as new.  However, my Summicron 35mm f/2 was damaged as it bore the brunt of the drop.  It was repaired in Bangkok last week and works as good as new.

Will be posting some photos taken with the “8″.
